2. Information We Collect

A. Google Account Information (OAuth 2.0)

When you authenticate through Sign in with Google, we request access strictly to non-sensitive scopes:

openid: To verify your identity.
.../auth/userinfo.email: To associate your forms and account with your primary email address.
.../auth/userinfo.profile: To display your full name and profile avatar within the application dashboard.

We do not request or access sensitive Google account services such as Google Drive, Gmail, Google Contacts, or Google Calendar.

B. User Content & Form Data

We store form configurations created by users (form titles, questions, descriptions, themes, and settings) as well as the responses submitted by respondents via public form links.

C. Diagnostic & Operational Logs

We collect basic server and network telemetry (IP addresses, user-agent strings, and request timestamps) for security monitoring, fraud prevention, and performance diagnostics.

3. Google API Services User Data Policy Compliance

RubyJ Forms's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

No Transfer to Third Parties: We do not sell, rent, or transfer any information received from Google APIs to third parties, except as strictly required to deliver our core application functionality or as required by law.
No Advertising: We never use or share information received from Google APIs for advertising, marketing, or retargeting purposes.
No Artificial Intelligence Training: We do not use personal data or information received from Google APIs to train generalized machine learning or artificial intelligence models.
Human Access: Human employees or contractors do not read your Google user data unless you have given explicit consent to resolve a specific technical support ticket, or as necessary for security purposes or compliance with applicable legal obligations.

4. How We Use Collected Information

To create and manage your user account and verify your sign-in status.
To allow you to build, customize, publish, and manage interactive forms and surveys.
To store, organize, and present form response analytics and charts in your dashboard.
To provide technical support and respond to user inquiries.
To detect and prevent security incidents, spam submissions, or abusive behavior.

5. Data Storage, Security & Infrastructure

We employ industry-standard technical and organizational measures to safeguard your personal data:

All web traffic is encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS 1.3).
Data is persisted in secure, encrypted cloud databases hosted on Supabase (PostgreSQL) with stringent row-level security and access controls.
Authentication tokens and credentials are securely signed and encrypted using NextAuth.js cryptographic secrets.

6. Your Data Rights & Deletion

You maintain complete ownership and control over your personal data:

Edit & Delete Content: You can edit or delete your forms, questions, and collected responses at any time from the application dashboard.
Account Deletion: You may permanently delete your account and all associated data by contacting our support team. Upon confirmation, your user records and related form data will be permanently purged within 30 days.
Revoke Google Access: You can revoke RubyJ Forms's access to your Google account at any time via your Google Account Permissions dashboard.
